As for the mate situation, I'm single, but living with him and we're basically friends with benefits. That's both good and bad. Good to be friends, bad to be mateless once more. Sometimes, I consider how much of that is my fault.. that I couldn't just put up with being more dominant for once so that I might have a relationship like everyone else I know. But the other part of me says never to settle for less like I've done in the past. So I just live life to the best of my ability. Try to get a job by posting applications to all openings in the surrounding area. Take out the trash and clean little by little of the kitchen. Stuff like that.
